It has been a long time since I’ve spoken with most of you. As I promised before the Experior Club was closed, I have been working hard to reopen the club in a new location.
I want you all to know that I am in negotiations with real estate agents to lease a new place for table tennis club.
Today, I received a rental proposal and I need to give them an answer. This place is in Addison close to highway I-355.
Before I sign the agreement, I need to get a license from the Village of Addison, get insurance, etc.
Unfortunately, the monthly rent payment will be higher than before and it will increase 2.5 % each year.
This means that the club membership will need to be slightly higher to cover the increasing cost. The monthly membership estimate will be between $70 to $80 a month. The daily club fee will still be $10.
If we reopen a club, we will continue to operate like before, including our regular Experior Tournaments, provide coaching, and selling Butterfly equipment.
The potential new place has central AC/HEAT, 2 restrooms, and a big parking lot.The possible date of reopen would be November 1, 2024. During August and September, the owner will remove some walls and carpet. We would need to spend October organizing and preparing the place for playing.
Please respond to this email if you interested in becoming member (both for the first time or once again), a sponsor, or are willing to help with remodeling (painting the walls, setting up the rubber floor, moving the tables back from the storage, etc.)
